Workshops and Consulting available for schools, organizations, non-profits, and clincians interested in furthering their education or working towards licensure.
How to create a sustainable career in the counseling field when we live in an unsustainable world? It is a hard question. As a supervisor I help with the nitty gritty of individual cases, considering approaches and different interventions, and I also hold space for the bigger questions, about the field of counseling, our roles and responsibilities. Please get in touch to talk about supervision; it is one of the best aspects of this work. To be able to lean into the support of someone who has decades of experience working with individuals, couples & families is priceless.
The quote below is relevant for my workshop offerings. So often we are trying to do things 'as they are meant to be done' and we feel hopeless, trapped, or confused. Our culture is not built to support women through their reproductive journey, nor is it designed to help new parents navigate their changed reality (ask any new parent about finding a daycare and you will soon know all too much about the failures of our society).
An ever-increasing number of helping professionals, from teachers to firefighters, nurses, doctors, social workers, suffer from burnout early into their careers. My workshops are tailored to meet the needs of the individuals I am presenting to and engaging with.
Finally, as AI looms in front of us, my background in mindfulness, eco-therapy, and yoga are the grounding, real time interventions necessary to bring us back from the virtual world to ourselves.
Workshops for direct care staff, Psycho-education for community members & healthcare providers
Previous workshops have been provided for For Love & Babes, Durango 9R School District Counselors, and for a variety of schools and organizations in my previous stomping grounds of Asheville, NC, Hamilton, NY and Washington, DC
